CEO, James McDonnell, held an investor briefing with Reach Markets, off the back of their recent 4C announcement.

In this session, James discussed:

  • The strong recruitment for the Phase 2a study in cancer treatment PTX-100, with enrolment lifting to 28 patients, up from 12 at the start of last quarter.
  • Being on track for a dose optimisation committee this year.
  • Why our first-in-class technology is one of the most advanced on the ASX with the potential for Phase 2b to become a registrational study.

James McDonnell

CEO

James McDonnell is a seasoned leader in the biopharmaceutical industry, bringing over 25 years of global experience in pharmaceuticals, with a particular focus on blood disorders and hematological malignancies such as Myeloma, Myelodysplasia, and CML.

Throughout his career, James has held senior leadership roles at renowned pharmaceutical companies, including Pharmion and CSL Vifor. At Pharmion, he spearheaded the growth of its oncology and hematology portfolio as Head of Global Marketing, contributing to the company’s acquisition by Celgene Corporation for US$2.9 billion. Most recently, James served as Global Commercial Lead for Patient Blood Management at CSL Vifor, where he drove key enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.

James is a registered pharmacist and a member of the Royal College of Pharmacy. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Monash University and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
